Evaluation of the 1 minute film challenge

What we did well

In the short film we did which was a 1 minute scene of Scream, we created scenes with many different types of shots such as the over the shoulder shot where it was used while we were talking. It showed relationship between each person and there was diegetic sound from the conversation. We included non-diegetic sound in parts of the film where it fitted in well with the scenes. Such as when the killer is getting closer to the person and there was a increase in the level of the sound.

How we felt about it

For a first film we created, I felt it was a good start to creating one where we included many type of shots which made the film a little bit better. 

How to improve

If we were to create a new short film, I would concentrate on improving the timing of adding in non-diegetic sound. For example when the killer was walking up the stairs, the sound of his footsteps were not the same as when his feet steps on the stairs.
